Lindelof used this event, and yes, he used it to tell a fictional story, but one where history is influential to the present events. Many analyses have pointed out that Lindelof used history to influence the present in the series. Choosing the Tulsa massacre has its meaning to the present-day USA. All Im saying is mention that in the post title clearly! Many would look at that picture and think it’s from the event and it is not!

I mean it is taken from a superhero drama. Doing little research it sounds like the show used the event in the first episode so there is that… Just need to be careful how we present info these days imo. Yes, I concur that official photos exist, but reading many comments in this subreddit some of them answered my comment point out that many US citizens do not know this fact, and that Watchmen told them about it. From my point of view, it is understandable that OP used the image of the series because the series popularized this near-forgotten event in US history.

Nice shirt but slightly on the “stiff” side. After washing it did seem to soften up a bit. Fits a little on the “small” side. I would suggest ordering 1 size up just to be safe. I ordered this in a small which is the usual sizing but it was tight. I returned the small and ordered the medium and there isn’t too much of difference but it is better. I would have like the bigger size (med) to be a bit a longer and looser fitting but it is okay. I love the graphic design. Really looks realistic and colorful. Very NICE!

I bought this for my wife because she desperately wants a golden retriever. I thought the next best thing would be a t-shirt with a giant dog face on it.
Unfortunately, she has no sense of humor and refuses to wear it, but every time she mentions getting a golden retriever I remind her that there is one living in the bottom of one of her drawers.
